If you frequent Water Street, you may have noticed a new shop opened in the Fall of 2019. You likely walked past our spacious eye-level windows, filled with gorgeous displays. Even early on, it captured an audience of designers, both professionals and dilettantes alike. La Maison Bleu had arrived! The store was introduced as the sister-store of women’s clothing boutique, Indigo Bleu. From it’s inception the focus of La Maison Bleu was antiques, home furnishings, and gifts. Home design and the arts are part the ever changing nature of creativity itself. La Maison Bleu is a space that offers creative perspective into the home, an insight built on years of fulfillment and curatorship.

The focus of La Maison Bleu is on antiques, home furnishings, and gifts. We are committed to supporting fair trade, female, minority owned, US made, and micro businesses. Offering a ‘curated’ collection takes diligent effort, honed skill and dedication to the study of craftsmanship and each item’s history. When you walk into La Maison Bleu you are greeted with warm displays of bedroom textiles and interesting pillows, surrounded by original art and prints along with carefully chosen quality antiques. With its vintage glassware, antique furniture, gifts, lounge wear, bountiful pillows and artful rugs, you will always find a “feast for the eyes.”

With the current pandemic rounding a new corner, We are offering regular hours from Thursday – Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Indigo Bleu is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and we will often open the door to La Maison Bleu on days when the store is closed for interested parties. Our goal is to have you experience and enjoy the space. So walk-in or visit our small on-line collection of loungewear and bedroom textiles! You may also call to set up an off-hours appointment. Rest assured, we practice Covid prevention measures throughout the day, disinfecting the store and high contact surfaces on a regular basis. Masks are always required for both staff and patrons. Hand-santizer and gloves are available for your shopping comfort.
